La dimora, risalente al XII secolo, è circondata da vigneti, oliveti, boschi e giardini storici. Gli ambienti conservano il fascino autentico dell’architettura toscana, con mura in pietra, dettagli d’epoca, cortili, terrazze panoramiche e spazi interni ed esterni adatti ad accogliere eventi di diversa natura.

Il Castello di Cafaggio è particolarmente legato alla musica e alla cultura. La proprietaria, Valentina Piccioni, è musicista, musicologa e cantante e ha curato la digitalizzazione e la valorizzazione dell’archivio delle opere del padre, il compositore Piero Piccioni. Nel corso degli anni il castello ha ospitato conferenze e concerti dedicati alla sua figura, con la partecipazione di importanti studiosi e musicisti.

La location può essere proposta per:

In bassa stagione, indicativamente da metà marzo a metà aprile e da metà ottobre a metà dicembre, è possibile valutare l’affitto della location anche per una sola giornata.

Durante l’alta stagione è generalmente richiesto un soggiorno minimo di due notti, con l’esclusiva del Castello.

La disponibilità, la configurazione degli spazi, le condizioni economiche e gli eventuali servizi aggiuntivi vengono valutati caso per caso in base al progetto dell’ospite.

Set among the rolling hills of Chianti, just a short distance from Florence, this exceptional historic castle offers an exclusive and atmospheric setting for concerts, recitals, conferences, cultural events, recordings and musical retreats.

Dating back to the 12th century, the estate is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, woodland and historic gardens. The property preserves the authentic character of Tuscan architecture, with stone walls, period details, courtyards, panoramic terraces and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for different types of events.

The castle has a particularly strong connection with music and culture. The owner, Valentina Piccioni, is a musician, musicologist and singer. She has overseen the digitisation and promotion of the archive of works by her father, the renowned Italian film composer Piero Piccioni. Over the years, the castle has hosted conferences and concerts dedicated to his work, involving respected scholars and musicians.

The venue can be considered for:

During the low season, approximately from mid-March to mid-April and from mid-October to mid-December, the property may consider bookings for a single day.

During the high season, a minimum stay of two nights is generally required, with exclusive use of the castle.
