About Music Traveler
Music Traveler is a global marketplace that centralize access to venues and spaces equipped with musical instruments, equipment, gears, production resources, and creative infrastructure across music, entertainment, performing arts, culture, and the broader creative industries. Music Traveler brings together one of the world's most comprehensive creative venues, spanning every scale, discipline, and use case. The platform offers access to concert halls, theatres, opera houses, arenas, stadiums, amphitheaters, comedy clubs, live music venues, rehearsal and practice studios, recording studios, podcast and radio studios, filming and photography studios, streaming facilities, DJ studios, and other purpose-built creative spaces. Music Traveler fosters a vibrant community by connecting musicians, facilitating collaboration, and fostering a sense of camaraderie. Artists and people in the creative industry can network, share experiences, and find potential collaborators. We started Music Traveler to solve our own problem — and a problem we knew firsthand from our fellow musicians: finding and booking the right space was fragmented, manual, and inefficient. Musicians needed rehearsal rooms, recording studios, and performance spaces, but there was no single place to discover, compare, and book them. We started by bringing rehearsal and recording studios onto one platform. Then the supply surprised us. Concert halls, live music venues, theaters, museums, galleries, churches, castles, palaces, auditoriums, stadiums, and other unique spaces began joining the platform — revealing that the problem was much bigger than music. As the supply expanded, so did the demand. Tour promoters needed venues across cities. Film and TV productions needed soundstages and scoring spaces. Orchestras needed concert halls. Theater and dance companies needed rehearsal and performance spaces. Festivals needed large-scale venues. Artists and cultural organizations needed exhibition and event spaces. Different disciplines. Different requirements. One underlying problem: **the creative industries rely on physical space, yet the market for finding and booking that space remains highly fragmented and largely offline.** On the other side, much of this valuable space sits underutilized. Venue owners have capacity they want to monetize, but lack the infrastructure to efficiently reach, qualify, transact with, and manage new customers. That creates a two-sided marketplace opportunity. We entered through music because it was a problem we lived ourselves and understood deeply within our community. We expanded because the market showed us that the same problem exists across the broader creative economy. Music was the entry point. Creative space is the market.
